The goal of Precision Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital is to harness the wealth of health care data available from myriad of sources to more precisely diagnose and treat diseases in entire populations of patients. Harnessing measurements of multiple modalities, not just clinical and genomic evaluations, but information about daily exercise, dietary intake, environmental exposure, can help to acquire a much more comprehensive view of the patient’s state, predict and prevent future developments and plan therapeutic interventions ahead of healthcare events.
